Palace told by Burnley that they will have to pay 3 million in compensation if they want Dyche. Looks like it might happen.

Looks like the Parish masterplan is coming together. Finish the season without any drama? Check. Get adequate performances from a load of people you've stopped offering job security to? Check. Correctly gamble that nobody will steal off with the out of contract players? Check. Let Roy leave without having a replacement lined up in the belief that it's a good market for us to find a replacement? Check. Let the season end for all clubs who have a manager we might be keen on before getting moving on the appointment? Check. Establish a shortlist made up of managers who are available, or who we can afford to obtain? Check (perhaps). Interview, and appoint the most impressive? Tbc.. Ha ha - love it BTP! There’s some video footage circulating of Dyche talking to Burnley fans about his philosophy. It’ll appeal to a vast number of us I’m guessing. I’ve watched it a couple of times now and I’m convinced for both him and us it’s a great match.

Burnley want 3m compensation for Dyche, I would pay it. If you let Parish know, I expect he would appreciate you paying Dyches compensation. He may even throw a few shares your way.

Never say never, depends on he's skills in the transfer market. One of the best we've been linked with so far. Get it done. nuno’s skills in the transfer market start & stop at jorge mendes, just look at the recent history below... there is a massive case of “you get these players cheap, develop them and we both make money” agreement there...if it was nuno based i would be all over it, however it is a fosun & mendes relationship. if i am being honest, i am jealous of wolves recruitment policy, however i am not naive enough to think nuno could do that with us, which makes him (in my eyes) a poor option.

I totally agree. Wolves have done well out of it, but they are a terrible example of how powerful f***ing agents can become. How many people does a man like Mendes control? Enough to make an historic club his personal economic vehicle. Nuno was an essential part of that, and it was an essential part of his success.

I'm not sure if I'd love it or not. It's not quite in the same league as the club getting bought by oil money human rights abusers or whatever, but I really like not feeling that my affection for the club is compromised by reservations about the dirtiness of the owners. Mind you, a super agent could get us a f***ing centre half, couldn't they?!
