We need an economy that works for the people and not the other way around. Nothing will improve though until we recognize the folly, risk and expense associated with mass immigration. We cannot go on providing welfare to the rest of the world.

Some of things I heard on LBC during a car journey earlier. Church gatherings in different buildings like warehouses. What?

I’m not familiar with that building but this picture was taken at a site on Fenchurch Street. Original photo comes from the below twitter feed. Includes photos with today’s papers for proof too [Tweet Link] Confused.com Fenchurch ST is NORTH of the river & Waterloo is South. FYI, the 'Shell' building was right outside Waterloo Stn inbetween York Rd & Belvedere Rd on the south bank. No matter was only asking as i used to have a lot of dealings with that particular site.

I had over 500 men on my job, who all had to use the same metric fingerprint system upon entering and leaving site, followed by cramming into a canteen come 7:30 like your picture shown above. Hope you dont mind, but, which site was this? My 'patch' was south of the river delivering PPE to various sites incl FLO/NLE & Tideway.

Fair enough really, different world views and different priorities. I do agree that capitalism will bring about a vaccine very quickly as the pharmaceutical companies fight to get one to market ASAP, it is worth noting though that capitalism also stopped the development of a SARS vaccine as there was no longer money to be made, governments and companies cut funding. Covid-19 (SARS-cov-2) shares 80-90% genetic material with the original SARS virus, had we continued with pursuit of the SARS vaccine we would be in a much better place to produce something quicker now. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but does raise question marks around solely having profit motives within pharmaceuticals. I couldn't agree more. Also the west allowing the vast majority of pharmaceutical manufacturing to China is also mind blowing.
