Don't be so silly. That's the kind of system that exists in North Korea, not here where we can change our government every 5 years and are protected from dictatorship by a constitutional monarchy.

I believe in our system. I certainly want to see it modified with more power to the MPs and the introduction of PR, but only with the retention of the basic structure.

You really do post some tosh sometimes, and generally embarrass yourself by just doubling down on it.

There you go again trying to justify yourself. It's okay if you are a totalitarian. I accept you for who you are and your views. It's clear by your views that you envy the likes of north Korea. That's okay too.

Just as I predicted, you are doubling down on your nonsense. It's always wise to stop digging when you are in a hole.

If you think I admire North Korea you have an even worse grasp of reality than I imagined.

I am a democrat. I believe in the law and for us to elect people to make the law on our behalf. Any changes I want need to be enacted by our representatives because they believe them to be wise. I want to win arguments and not impose my will as a dictator.

Keep telling yourself these these and maybe you will believe them. Your views and arguments are totalitarian just like the democrats.

That at least made me laugh out loud! You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. The Democrats are not totalitarian. They are democrats, there is a clue in the name.

Nor am I. I may desire some things you object to but I want them to be chosen democratically, with your objections heard and valued. What I expect from you is that you also respect democracy and if my arguments win, you accept them. That's the way democracy works. You seem to think that anyone who makes a law you don't like is a totalitarian because you will have to abide by it.

Never trust a country that has the word Democratic in it's title.

I have no idea what you are talking about and doubt whether you do either. In fact I was wondering if it was actually the beer talking. I guess we will soon find out!
