I am not saying BF is perfect, indeed far from it. I have on many occasions been embarrassed by the attitude of some on Immigration control. No excuses whatsoever. What I would say is that some of the verbal abuse given to BF staff is outrageous and unwarranted On one occasion an immigration officer was very rude to my wife, I politely asked to see her supervisor and she pointed to a sign that said abuse of officers was an offence and she would call security. I stood my ground and received an apology from her supervisor.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

You seem to have the air of someone who is embittered and jealous and possibly been passed over Edited by HKOwen (16 May 2022 2.36pm) Wow How do you make that logical leap? Please feel free to tell anyone not able to afford to live at the moment to work more hours and/or get a better job. It plays so well. In some places there is little choice in jobs. Ah, I know, we should all take out a loan and buy a bicycle Your grasp of life as it is led seems rather more akin to the Daily Mail than the Express but, in any case, it's not realistic.

'Tory MP who said people can't cook or budget claimed £222,000 in expenses in a single year'. The tip of an iceberg I'm afraid there are worse. It's as if they view poverty as a lifestyle choice.

Here's a good one:- Tory MP says people could 'incentivise granny annexes' to save money.

From what I've seen this MP was trying to be well meaning and had his words twisted and subverted to imply something else. Something that's rather prevalent today.

Maybe what he meant was the lazy t***s who put no effort in to life and take take take and expect free stuff can actually help themselves by using some effort.

What is the problem with this idea. If your drum can take an extension and the dough is available why not if both want it.

I think he was being genuine and talking from experience and the media and usual activists twisted his words. People can't blame politicians for never saying anything or not being honest when those that do are actually punished for that honesty.
