More weak teams in the league is better for us, although you could argue there aren't really any particularly easy to beat teams in the PL or Championship these days.

I always work on us picking up an average of 1 point a season against each of the top 10, and an average of 3 points against each of the bottom 10. Works out to 37 points. If Swansea, West Brom and Stoke drop out and are replaced by Wolves, Cardiff and either Aston Villa, Middlesbrough or Fulham then I think that I think we will have about the same strength teams coming up as went down; but the big difference is that Huddersfield and Brighton will still be up and this will mean that the teams staying up will be weaker than the ones going down. My money will be on Cardiff, Huddersfield and Brighton to go down next year, but if Dyche goes to a bigger club then Burnley drop onto the mix too. This season i thought we were in a mini league with Swansea, Huddersfield, Brighton and Newcastle for two places for relegation. Next season I think there will be a mini league of seven. Which can only be good.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five! |

Can only disagree even if I understand where you are coming from. Both Brighton and Huddersfield have Managers who are very good at recruiting, and doing so on an amazing budget if you compare that to ourselves. So why would they start the season weaker now it has been confirmed they are remaining in the moneys? Originally posted by dp

Swansea can still stay up if they gain ten goals on Southampton in beating Stoke. Given that Saints are playing Citeh it's not actually completely impossible and if it happened it would be the funniest thing I'd seen in a long, long time.

The big six should be playing each other at the end of the season, to keep the top of the table competitive.

Imagine being a Stoke player and thinking “I could really piss off Hughes-ey by throwing this game 10-0.” Are there any FA rules against not trying in a game? Edited by YT (09 May 2018 10.21pm)

Edited by YT (09 May 2018 10.21pm) a Stoke player could do a keano and try to break somebody's leg, at the start of the game. Take a red and then watch your ten men get slaughtered. hughe-sy would be livid and blame the referee.
