Todays first download is a set by Arcade Fire that was recorded at the Rock In Rio Festival, Lisbon, Portugal on the 31st May 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've posted a lot of albums and bootlegs by Arcade fire - including a few this year. If you like Arcade Fire then grab this show.. this is thoroughly recommended... and then some!..

Todays extra download is a set by former Led Zeppelin front man and vocalist Robert Plant that was recorded at the Fair Grounds Race Couse, New Orleans Jazz Festival, New Orleans on the 26th April 2014. This is labelled as a soundboard but after a listen I am certain that its an audience recorded show - albeit a very good one. The vocals seem to be "Distant" - usually, a sure sign of an audience recorded show. A good setlist with some classics from both his solo and LZ catalogues. If you like Robert Plant - them grab this show... audience or not.. it's a good one..

Todays first download is the first disc in a 15 disc set of the complete Live Aid shows in London and Philadelphia on the 13th July 1985. I will be posting one disc a day for the next couple of weeks. The shows were organised by Bob Geldorf and raised aid money for countries like Ethiopia and Somalia and others. A whole host of stars gave their services to the shows including.... David Bowie, Phil Collins, Elvis Costello, Dire Straits, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Queen, Status Quo, Sting, U2, Ultravox, Wham, The Who, Bryan Adams, The Beach Boys,! The Cars, Black Sabbath, Eric Clapton, Duran Duran, Hall & Oates, Mick Jagger, Judas Priest, Kenny Loggins, Billy Ocean, Ozzy Osbourne, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, REO Speedwagon, Lionel Richie, Santana, Simple Minds, Tears For Fears, Tina Turner, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Sade, Patti LaBelle, Nik Kershaw, Band Aid, among others. The quality of the shows is superb and the audio has been taken from BBC FM radio broadcasts of the shows. This is a great bootleg set and is thoroughly recommended....

Todays extra download is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted. They are called Jason And The Scorchers and they've been around since 1981 and are still going today. They play a mix of punk rock/hard rock/country - and they come from Nashville, Tennessee. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show on WYSP-FM Philadephia - where the show was recorded on the 9th March 1984. I can't believe I've not posted anything by them in the past considering the amount of albums they've released, but this one wont be the last as I've got another show to post in the next day or so... this band rock - try them!...
