I've lost moral high ground because I said hate crimes are up and you said it was people making it up.

Absolute cobblers. Stalin was a c***. Communism hasn't really worked. Marx had some very good ideas. So all the dead cat look at communism arguments rather than discussing the rise of fascism falls on deaf ears hear I'm afraid. Hate crimes are up post Brexit. Thems the facts. Face them, don't excuse them otherwise it sorta looks bad on you. Communism has nothing to do with it. All crime is up in the last year. Is knife crime and gang related crime also due to brexit also? I would actually argue that a combination of a) lower police numbers and b) terroist attacks such as Manchester and London are more likely to have incited hate yet you don't seem to be blaming them?

What absolute twaddle. You can't seriously compare Britain in 2017 to Nazi Germany. I'm not.

I am against fascism too! But NOT through violence. But it should be stopped by the police, not be put in the hands of thugs! Antifa are the fascists - by means of them stopping speech on multiple occasions. NO the stats are now recorded differently! Edited by Penge Eagle (17 Oct 2017 9.31pm)

Churchill was not fighting fascism. He was fighting a military force that threatened all of Europe. Most soldiers were fighting for their mates.

Of course they are important. The perps of those attacks are scum. And yes it will make people angry. But are people really so thick that they have to take it out on someone because they are brown. On the subject of an increase in hate crime on disabled people , I've seen hate crime described as backward, a private hate, something outside the public arena, the kind of thing driven by the very public, officially sanctioned, state hatred of counter-welfarism and PIPs. This could also have something to do with it.

I'm not. You were suggesting that people who fought against Hitler would feel betrayed. I'd say they would feel betrayed if they knew that Britain now prioritised immigrants over their grand children.

No it isn't. Anyone putting their fingers in their ears and ignoring the fact that hate crimes are going up and blaming others when far right parties are getting a foothold across Europe is tacitly spitting on the graves of those that died fighting Nazis and fascists. How do you know what the hate crimes are,it could be muslims on jews,or on soldiers.
