Todays first download is a set by The Killers that was recorded at the Hangout Festival in Alabama on the 17th May 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted stacks of albums and bootlegs by The Killers over the years - this is another top sounding bootleg for the collection. Usual tracklisting with a top version of "Bad Moon Rising" - a Creedence Clearwater Revival cover. The set ends with the bands most well known tracks "When You Were Young" & "Mr. Brightside". If you like The Killers then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is the first bootleg by this band that I've posted - but not the first album. This is a Robyn Hitchcock & The Egyptians and a set recorded at the Chestnut Cabaret in Philly on the 4th April 1988. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds wicked. The band were touring in support of their fifth album "A Globe Of Frogs". I have in the past posted two studio released albums by Robyn Hitchcock - but this is the first boot. If you know this band - then grab the show.. if you don't then grab it anyway and give it a try.... this is great stuff and thoroughly recommended.. Todays extra download is a set by The Yardbirds that was recorded in Stockholm, Sweden on the 4th April 1967. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM re-broadcast of the show. For a bootleg this age this really is top stuff. Bootlegs by The Yardbirds are very rare and I immediately grabbed this one. The Yardbirds are legendary in UK rock history - they've had some great guitarists ... Jimmy Page (who is on this one) as well as Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton... nuff said - this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays first download is a set by Kings Of Leon that was recorded at the recent Radio 1 Big Weekend Festival in Glasgow, Scotland on the 25th May 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast and it sounds top notch. I've posted loads of KOL boots and albums over the years and this is another top sounding boot for the collection. The band play a top setlist with the bands single Supersoaker starting the show off. If you like Kings Of Leon - then grab this bootleg... this is thoroughly recommended... This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've not posted much by the Klaxons over the years - just a couple of studio released albums - unbelievably, according to my files this is the first bootleg by them I've posted. It's a top sounding show and if you like the Klaxons - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a set by Chvrches from this years Coachella Music & Arts Festival, Indio, California on the 12th April 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've not posted much by this band - only a couple of bootlegs now - and I don't really know too much about them. I know they come from Scotland, they've released one studio album in 2013 and are a trio who play electronic/synthpop music (thanks wiki). I've had this one sitting around for a month or so now.. so it's about time it was posted - along with the other 10 or so sets from this festival I've yet to post.... This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. This is a short set of only 11 songs, but good ones. Todays second download is a set by Atlanta Rhythm Section that was recorded at My Fathers Place, Old Roslyn, Long Island, New York on the 23rd January 1977. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. I've posted a few shows by ARS in the past - this is another top sounding show for the collection. If you don't know this band - they rock, southern rock style... the 22 minute version of Another Man's Woman is worth the download on its own. This is great stuff and is thoroughly recommended.... Todays extra download is a set by Pink Floyd guitarist and front man Dave Gilmour and a set rec orded at Alte Oper, Frankfurt, Germany on the 18th March 2006 while he was touring in support of the "On An Island" album. This is an audience recorded show - but it's really, really good, which is why I'm posting it. I don't like audience recordings as a rule as they tend to sound real crap.. but this is very listenable as the audience is quiet during the tracks and only heard at the end... The first part of the show is dedicated to the album, the second part of the show is a dip into the Pink Floyd catalogue. This is great stuff for an audience show and is well worth the download..
