Todays first download is a set by The Firm that was recorded at the Tingley Coliseum, Albuquerque, New Mexico on the 18th March 1985. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds wicked. I've posted a few other shows from this US tour by The Firm - I was surprised that I've not posted this one before. The Firm featured the legendary Led Zep guitarist Jimmy Page with legendary Free, Bad Company vocalist Paul Rogers together in a band - but they never played any LZ or Free songs in their shows, which is a shame. This is still a wicked set though and if you like The Firm this is a great addition to the collection... Todays second download is a set by John Hiatt that was recorded at the Vic Theater, Chicago on the 6th December 1990. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from a pre-fm broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. I've not posted many bootlegs by John Hiatt over the years - only 3 according to my files and no studio released stuff - this was a surprise considering he's released over 20 studio recorded albums in a recording career that started in 1972. If you like John Hiatt then grab this show.. this is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a set by the former founder and front man of Dire Straits, Mark Knopfler. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted stacks of bootlegs and albums by Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler over the years but not a lot recently. A good set with only a short dip into the Dire Straits catalogue as he plays a wicked acoustic version of Romeo and Juliet. If you like Mark Knopfler then grab this one ... this is thoroughly recommended...
