All we would need to do is kick out the Health and safety w*nkers and all the pathetic regulators, rip out the seats and hey presto we will have one of the biggest capacities in England.

No chance of that happening in this squeaky clean country. Oh and no smoking .......other than dope of course.

Safe standing is being trialled in places isn't it? Must be one way of increasing capacity I would have thought.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to increase capacity in an existing stadium by simply introducing standing. The entrances, exits, concourse, bars and toilets have all been design based on the current seating capacity. So the standing capacity would have to be exactly the same without a major intervention.

I'll be hugely suprised if the master plan doesn't include safe standing.

We could easily sell 40k tickets in the prem, just 10k would be football tourists. From a business point of view I doubt the board could care less.

Are you generally in favour of safe standing?

Yeah (from the little i know about it) i think it'd be a good idea to bring some sections of safe standing in.

Although i guess there's planning issues to get over so wouldn't imagine it'd form part of the first phase.

I really want the stadium improved but my gut tells me the bang for buck from player recruitment and development is so much greater & immediate.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

I don't agree, typically bloody English, get a bit of that 'can do' spirit my fiend, a few bogs won't halt our rise to greatness, either cheer up and retract this hogwash or show me your architect qualifications.
