i missed brighton 5-0 on holiday...

having said that, i also missed the crewe 3-1 defeat, which my mate said was the worst game he'd seen in a while

The only home game i've missed in the last 3 or 4 years and it had to be 6-3

My mate lost the season tikets and i ended up playing tennis and starting when it was 1-1 finishing when it was 6-3

6-3 Stoke last year!

But we were in Rome watching Lazio v Empoli and then England v Italy in the 6N the following day!

Liverpool in the league cup last tuesday. I was at the NME rock n roll riot tour, which was great, but its a shame it had to be on the night we beat the european champions.

Apart from that ive been quite lucky, the only home game ive missed in the last 3 or 4 years was Charlton last december, apparantly a boring match which we lost 1-0.

I'd've loved to have been at Stockport, back back then didn't really go away games.

Most obvious for me the Stoke game..was valentines day of course and for weeks been deliberating bout what to do..missus or palace..ended up pissing everyone off because I couldn't decide wat to do!!
Finally went with the g/f option just thought spend day with her you know..only Stoke eh.

I don't think she'll ever forget (and i hers) when back at mine after dinner I checked the internet and saw the score. Cue endless ribbing from mates; and a falling out with her because on being asked whether Id've gone to the game - and ruined plans - if I had known the score I answered with a resounding yes.

I made a vow that day to not miss Palace for anything like that again..culminating in me meaning to go to Saints other day on her Birthday! needless to say neither party was happy at what happened there.
