I'm sorry to poke my nose into this argument, i feel i am fairly neutral, as i do not agree with George Bush and his 'axis of evil', yet also i do not agree with open dictatorship. The first Gulf war unlike the second was started with justified reasons, and by George Bush snr. Secondly, a man running a totalitarian government, who invaded other countries and realeased biological weapons on his own people, has certainly been responsible for more than Mr. Bush. Yes Bush has been responsible for many needless deaths, but sadly he cannot be compared to Saddam in that respect.

Two wrongs don't make a right - Saddam was wrong, Bin Laden was wrong... but so was Bush's reaction.

Well, for a start the US sanctions against Iraq in the ten years between the two Gulf Wars were responsible for an estimated half a million Iraqi kids dying. That was Saddam's fault - nobody else's!! He was creaming off the cash from the oil for himself and his govt instead of providing health care and food for his people! Everyone knows that! It was actually UN sanctions, not US sanctions. They are put in place for a reason and that reason is not to make the country's people die but to force the oppresive govt into action. It usually works, but Saddam used it against his own people. But of course, that's not his fault - it's Bush's! Yeah, right. Edited by Penge Eagle (11 Jul 2004 3:37am)

But Bush is as bad, worse in my opinion. How the hell did you work that one out. Tell me where you'd rather live - USA or Iraq? Thank you, my question is answered! Saddam has killed more Muslims than any other person and delluded people think that Bush is the wrong 'un here! Edited by Penge Eagle (11 Jul 2004 3:40am)

I already know what to talk about when we meet next ... 2 wrongs don't make a right mate .. Bush is just as guilty. He just goes about his business a bit different !

People who make threads on subjects that exist or that go something like; "Dwight Yorke/Matt Jansen/Andy Cole/Jerome Boere/Pele/Frosty The Snowman is a great player who could probably do a job for us. Should we sign him!!??"

Anyone appearing in an advert shown on cable TV between 10am and 6pm needs to be removed from the face of the earth...
I've got a bad feeling about this..... |

And the fact that I should be at work between 10am and 6pm is irrelevant, we have a tv on here.
I've got a bad feeling about this..... |
