Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Actors really should stay out of politics.

I'd want to be known as a sci fi hero, or maybe even Moses, rather than a divisive gun advocate.

'From my cold dead hands' is a good one but I'd rather remember...

Soylent Green is people! Or...

Take your stinking paws off me, you damn dirty ape! Or maybe even

It's genuine 160 proof old Anglo-Saxon baby!

What's the point? You'll only dismiss it anyway. It was on Politico if you want to look for it.

If it’s true then how could it be dismissed?

What I want to do is see the context. The other parts of the jigsaw that enables the sctual meaning to be known. Taking any one line out of its context is potentially meaningless.

Again you have missed the point. It doesn't matter what you or I think or whether even Biden is still competent to carry out his term.

I said this morning the Republicans would go after Joe telling him to stand down not realising that Trump has already said this. This is the way they will damage Harris, "you were in the room. you have the power to replace him along with the cabinet, why didn't you act, lack of judgement blah blah".

I rather think it’s you missing the point.

He hasn’t stood down, doesn’t intend to and has no need to. Completing his term will be framed as him fulfilling his obligations. Withdrawing as a candidate will be framed as acting responsibly. Both will be framed as putting the country before self.

The Republicans going after Biden are missing that point too. It will quickly backfire on them and if they have any sense will drop it.

In fact if they push it a new line of attack opens up for the Democrats. If Trump wins he will be older than Biden was at every equivalent stage of the 4 year term. So if Biden is now too old, so will Trump be. Will he resign then?
