How depressing. Sorry to hear of your infusion Willo. Are we to assume from your prediction that you will not be in attendance this afternoon? I shall be in attendance but I am infused with dread and despondency and I suspect there will be much wailing and lamentation as the game unfolds.

5-2 to Palace. We MUST get the first goal though and early on. It seems the later we score, the more likely we sit back. Luton are fighters but even they will be deflated if we can maintain forward pressure and get two or three up by half time. Not a lover of Edouard but he is a classy finisher so if everyone else around him is running their socks off, a few decent passes and he can do the business. In which case I can forgive him stopping for a fag and a pint whilst waiting around the penalty area.

Looking forward to the game, hope we are all happy afterwards? Normally I can predict a score (and be wrong) but this one I can see us winning, losing and drawing. So hard to predict in my opinion. If I wasn’t sitting on the fence I would say draw! A lot may come down to the bench and that’s my biggest worry as ours is so weak and tends to not strengthen the team when changes are made in the last third of the match. Now I’m thinking defeat - Help!

We have to win this game today as looking at our up and coming fixtures I struggle to see how we can reach 36pts and especially so with our long term injury absentees. Franca worries me as he seems more prone to sick notes than first team appearances!

Even if we are winning 2-0 with 15 minutes left, you just know it's going to be the longest 15 minutes for quite a while. This game could be our season. No pressure. Yes, you are stop on, although a win is what need a draw is not the end of the world, defeat and well.....

Sounded like he thought he wasn't scoring enough. Might have been my old, ravaged ears of course. In any event I reckon most of the attention at today's game will be on the ref. I hope he has a good game. And, don't fret Willo, we will win.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

According to press reports he is not playing because he has a groin problem, if this is true it is very concerning as he seems very prone to injury not forgetting of course he was injured when he joined us!

EPL Injury Table says he has an Abductor Strain, should be ok after the break, won't be going to Spain tho Ferguson will be.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |
