I dont remember us being linked with Kudos, their best signing last summer. which sort of dispels your theory . Not really, you must have a short memory painter, how about Benrahma, Bowen, Ings, Downes? They even tried to pinch Cabaye from under our noses

Surprising to hear them talking detail on the Palace in your neck of the woods Willo. There's a surprisingly large number of Palace fans in Sussex. And if all goes according to plan, I know of a big Palace fan that's buying a pub in Hove later this year...

We are always going to be interested in the same type of players, basically anyone who cant get a top 6 club and wants to be in London.

A few years ago, I was informed that a local train station was awash with supporters travelling up to the Julian Speroni testimonial.

it appears one of the obstacles is that Blackburn would like any buyer to agree a loan back for rest of season. Obviously this would not suit us as we are looking to replace an injured player and need the body now. I wonder if we could interest them in a loan of Ozoh and 1 of raki Sakyi or Ebiowei (both of whom have been linked in past with Blackburn). All 3 of these players could benefit from exposure of week to week First team football, Edited by Palace in the Blood (26 Jan 2024 7.47pm)

Blackburn need the money Kids a serious talent - watched him a few times this season reminds me of a young Declan Rice..!! Our recent purchasing from the Championship has been good - Olise and Eze - this kid is in the same bracket..!! Top signing we get it done - come on Steve and Dougie..!! COYP

I am still concerned about spending heavy cash , in our terms, on an untried youngster from the Championship when we need a ready made player to see us through to stay in the Premiership. Living in Lancashire opinion of him is yes great potential but very raw and error prone whilst also doing brilliant things. So he may turn out to be an Eze or Olise type signing but how much he would help us between now and the end of the season when we need help most is very debatable. COYP

COYP I refer once again to the Bournemouth pre match interview given by Steve Parish ; “It’s experience (we’re looking for),” I know things can and will change, and although Wharton sounds a really good prospect, surely the need is for a more proven, experienced player to come in ?

If Blackburn demand 25 mill for Wharton, what will Eze, Olise and Guehi be worth? We are talking close to 100 mill for each...guess we have to let (at least) one of them leave this summer. Hoping the money will be spent on players that can walk straight into the team.
