It's weird with SJ, when we signed him I don't think he was even WBA's first-team keeper and now he's back in the England fold with talk of a £15m deal. I think he's a very solid and dependable keeper and it'd be a shame to lose him. Henderson was out for a long period before getting his chance with us and he came in when heads were down. I think he'll go on to prove himself as his confidence returns. I noticed Arsenal were doing the same tactic against Forest but their goalkeeper got protection from a defender. It's obviously going to be a tactic from many teams until it is inevitably clamped down on. To me it seems daft that a player can intentionally obstruct the goalkeeper's path, but there you go. SJ was 1st choice at WBA for 4 years, however, when he refused to sign a new contract they did play someone else for the last few games of that season knowing that SJ was leaving on a free. He played 36 league games in that final season. I think Henderson and SJ are quite similar. Both good shot stoppers, but both glued to their line at all set pieces. It does however appear that Henderson will be the new Hennessey, constantly criticised. As for Johnstone, i like him and have a slight preference for him over Henderson.

It was David Button who played in the last 5 games for WBA, a player that Slaven Bilic signed from Brighton.

Besides lets see where Henderson fits in to that after he has played 10 games Im really hoping that Henderson turns it around and becomes a really good keeper for us . I can remember another keeper we used to say was a bit useless when he stood in for Kiraly ,we even gave him the nickname of Spillaroni . That guy turned into a legend But at this moment its Johnstone for me .Thats of course based on his form before Henderson took the shirt .Johnstone may come back in at some point and be just as poor . Having two first choice keepers might sound great but it never works out with both being under the microscope when they play . For the record Johnstone 16 games ,goals against 22 , Henderson 8 games ,goals against 20

No idea why Roy H. is so stubborn when it comes to pick a goalie. Henderson lets in goals left and right, Johnstone been our best player in several games.
