I’m new here so I won’t say too much! But Love wilf and age only a number (I tell myself!). Also not saying I want him back but interesting list of footballers aged as wilf:

Did they also turn down 125k to get 65k, whilst mucking their club around about maybe taking the offer, all to play in a sh1t league? One where it was obvious it wouldn't work out? A two year old could have offered more wisdom. So maybe age is just a number.

An interesting list, but I don't know most of them and certainly wouldn't want to see any of them at our club. Even Alisson Becker, and, as a keeper he would be my only consideration.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Wilf can't currently get a regular game in Turkey - surely this speaks volumes. I have no issue with him wanting a new challenge, and he now has Champions League experience and a Turkish league winners medal. However, clearly his best days are well passed him and it is clear if the team isn't built around him he tends to under perform - both for Ivory Coast and now Gala. Let's move on

I wonder whether he might go down the pay-day route now he's had a chance at CL football; maybe he'll make a move to Saudi or the MLS. A club legend but not one I want back.

Agree with all the reasons for saying no. I regret not seeing a full season of Wilf Eze and Olise on the same pitch under a progressive manager like we have now but sometimes it’s just not meant to be.
