Goal difference post game -11

It's weird, the embargoed press conference had Roy announcing that Dean Henderson will start in goal and Eze will travel in the match squad and might even start! Why was that not in the public press conference? As much as this news would be great for the City game I really hope Roy doesn't take any risks, especially with Brighton on Thursday.

If Henderson and Eze start we may keep the score down to a respectable 3-0.

We need a cunning plan. Now where's Baldrick when you need him? Anything less than a 2 or 3 nil drubbing would be amazing in the circumstances. Best chance of a freak result would be (1)same effort as against Liverpool, (2) MC players sleepwalking into what they believe will be the easiest game of the season and (3) bit more luck (common sense) from the ref. Now if Olise could drift into the penalty area as much as possible (that's there's not ours!) must be a good chance of a penalty. Like Zaha he's got the body moves to sucker defenders into rash tackles. Will I watch the game? Absolutely, through thick and thin I'll never abandon my team. even when the 5th goal goes in and the third player has been sent off (or carried off) I'll be checking my watch thinking, 12mins left, if we score every 2mins (Mateta hat trick and two Olise penalties)..... Ah well, I'd better go and take my medication.
