There were a lot of rumours at the end of last season re discussions with Potter; if true, presumably they went nowhere. Personally, I would be inclined towards Southgate if he decides to step away from England. He has excellent credentials re bringing on young players, a good record of success with England and knows both Parish, Freedman and the general Palace set up. In my judgement, it would be hard to find a better fit - in some respects quite similar to the Roy scenario.

Not the opinion of many including myself .He hasn't done anything at club or international level that would suggest he would make him a decent choice. Relegated with Boro ,negative with England as soon as any sort of opposition turns up .IMO he has cost us at least two major titles Had some credit with the England U21's but then so did Peter Taylor .

Even though he was at Brighton Graham Potter would make a lot of sense. It would be a good appointment next summer. He can get Palace into Europe (Conference League) with players like Eze, Olise and Franca. However, I think investment is also required Palace still need to buy a few more players e.g. new RB and clinical striker at least. They have never replaced AWB at RB and have not had a clinical striker in a long time. Edited by Zaha127 (11 Nov 2023 9.20am) Potter would be a disaster at Palace, with his A to B to C tactics, stifling the flair players, similar to Patrick "Eze´s no good" Vieira

David Moyes. His contract is up this season and the rumours are he will be going. As much as I dislike him, he’d probably be a good fit. You can't be serious. If he doesn't agree terms with West Ham it would be a big drop going to Palace. He wouldn't put up with the likes of SP either.
