Likewise Franca to come back and we retained Olise.

Yes there is a lack of depth, but if you want a good first 11 that’s the sacrifice.

What do you mean Franca back? He’s never played a minute for us and we retained an injured Olise who we all hope recovers otherwise that’s another “gem” and significant money down the drain.

To be fair I think Roy did say we needed more players. They ignored him. The same happened in his last season before Vieira came in. PV was then given sizeable funds to spend. The attitude seems to be that Roy can somehow muddle through and avoid reloeith effectively one hand tied behind his back. I feel sorry for him really

Spell checker gone wrong again! That should have been can avoid relegation with one hand tied behind his back

Can only hope that the one player with ability to bring the ball forward (instead of the passing back ballet) namely Riedewald is given the opportunity to do so. Nobody else has the skill.

Schlupp and Ayew not justifying their selection.

As for our crocked 20 million keeper words failed me when we bought him and I am now appalled he seems to have gone off with a pulled muscle. We already have a capable reserve in Matthews (and Goodman out on loan).

Ah well, we score all our goals in the second halves of matches, so I wait in (hopeless) anticipation ...

Completely disagree. When he has decent players available to him we play decent football. First season and then last season, the rest of the time we've had old scrappers so what do you expect. With all our decent attackers either injured, not worth the risk or left the club I'm not sure what else you'd expect.

I expect us to give it a go at home to Fulham. Yes the mighty Fulham. I don't know whether you were there or not but they ran us ragged, especially in the first half.

Should have started with Mateta and Eduoard up front and taken the game to them, rather than his usual defensive set up, hoping to get a breakaway.

Tonight is just embarrassing. Even down to the bare bones, give it a go. Nothing to lose.

It’s a shame, but Rak Sakyi is clearly out of his depth

Yes, awful.

Less than 20 minutes played, no saves or anything much to do and injured himself just kicking ball downfield. Unbelievable and as previously stated smacks of insufficient warm-up which is just amateur hour

And those wages still need paying. Every signing is a gamble

Ask Everton on Bolasie.
