This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

That was a game to forget. The only positive is a clean sheet and a point.

Edouard signalled to the bench (twice) that he needed to be subbed. From the time that Edouard made the signal it took Roy 5 minutes to make the substitution with at least two breaks in play before the change was made. We played those 5 minutes with ten men as Edouard was not showing for anything (some may say we played with ten men for a lot longer than that!)

I can’t wait to watch the highlight later.

Awful game but I’m not unhappy, a decent point to tide us over especially with the injuries we have.

I agree, I came away from the game quite happy, when you don’t play well it’s good to come away with a point, respect the point as Big Sam has always said. We rode our luck a bit and another day Foolham could’ve pinched it second half

Well that was rubbish.

According to Sky Sports stats we had three shots on target, I can’t remember any!

Totally devoid of any attacking ideas and lacking any real quality in the final third. Didn’t look like scoring from open play or set pieces and surrendered possession time and time again inviting relentless pressure from Fulham.

Schlupp gave us nothing going forward, neither did Ward. Eze needs more support and thank goodness for Johnstone, whose solid performance earned us the point.

We really could’ve done with all three though, as following on from the last two performances I don’t see us picking up anything else now until Novembers fixtures.

Plus a better drive home than the journey there!

I’d of taken the point pre-game I have to say so on to the next with minimal fuss from me. Good to see Marc back to his imperious best today.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I predicted 0-2, so on that basis I'm pleased, if a bit worried by how poor we have become over the last two games (albeit partly due to injury disruption).

We desperately missed Lerma . We need him in our side to enable attacking play without him we are less able to produce clear goal scoring situations. As Roy says we are a team with only twelve Premier League competitive players. Bringing on subs. unlike other teams does not enable us to change the pattern of play or improve any part of our team. All it can achieve is fresh legs. Until we sign more first choice players or youth players come through our season’s success is going to be directly proportional to the injuries to first choice players. It is what it is all we can do is hope for an injury free season with signings to come. COYP

I'm assuming you came back on the A2/M2 as well then?
