Our line up today will be very interesting. No Doucoure or Lerma in the middle, no Eze or Olise for creativity. Our squad is looking paper thin now. Agreed it's looking very thin... If we can get through today with a point or even better 3 then the International break is very welcome to try and get some of them back training again. Could possibly see Hughes and Riedewald starting in the middle I reckon which will be interesting. As poor as the team performance against Man Utd in the League Cup was I actually though Riedewald did ok.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

Eleven injuries!! I took my eye off the EPL injury table for 5 seconds and someone has been at the squad with a baseball bat. No defence midfield. No attack midfield. No striker (who can score). Tommo nearly back though. And that Ferguson lad...

What the hell is going on in training? Two more injuries to Ward and Doucoure. How are we going to compete with no holding midfielders and no creative attackers.

Commentators today reckon it could be our coaches pushing the players too hard, under PV we didn't suffer so much so I think SP needs to have a word

I blame the conditioning coaches. Too many hamstring injuries mean that either they're not being warmed up enough or they are doing too much work on the quads which is causing an imbalance in the legs and the hamstrings aren't strong enough to cope.

Shaping up to be a pretty dull season. Too many injuries to our forward and midfield players who can make something happen. Roy the mastermind of the defensive nil nil. Four teams already adrift at the bottom. Yawn.

This is it for me. There is too many now for this to be just bad luck, the club should be reviewing its preparations for both daily training sessions and match days. The problem is then compounded by Roy's reluctance to use subs and have the same benchwarmers given some precious match time. Again, one of those yesterday - Jairo - was not match fit enough to complete the match and the problem compounds itself.

We don’t need a bigger treatment room, we need a frigging hospital!
