What about Fryers, Mutch, Bamford, Jach, Meyer, Sakho, Benteke Brothers and so on!
PS With regard to Benteke, surely the issue was extending his contract? We would have probably gone down without the goals he scored in his first season with us and so he more than paid for his fee given how much the club would have lost financially had we been relegated.

At last some balance.Benteke, with his goals, certainly kept us up,of that there is no doubt.

Perhaps someone from CPFC could share this information with us fans! Returning to the OP, my own view is: 1. I hope nobody from CPFC shares this kind of information with the wider public. I appreciate that the player and/or his agent will tell other clubs if it suits them to do so, but Palace should keep quiet, and avoid creating a media story. 2. If he does have a £35m clause then that's the kind of money the big boys throw away without a thought - Olise would be a bargain at that price. The simple fact nobody has triggered it would suggest there is no such clause. 3. I'd want north of 50m the way the market has gone, and would not sell him this summer for anything less than £75m as it will devastate our team to lose Olise and Zaha in one hit. In any event, I'm not so sure the player would want to leave right now. He seems to plan his career with care, and I doubt sitting on the bench at Chelsea or City rather than playing at Palace is beneficial to him at this stage in his career.

Sakho was an absolute beast for palace 2016/17. Definitely for me the main reason we stayed up that season. He got injured quite a bit - and when he did we missed him.

If there was a straight choice of losing Olise or Eze, which one would prefer to go? My choice would be Olise, yes he is good, but not as influential to the team as Eze. If we get offered £50m he will be gone, wingers are easier to replace.

Benteke is our only striker to have scored more than 15 goals in a season since we were promoted

Good return, for him. I think he netted 10 times in his penultimate season, but that was when his contract renewal was due. Strange that... Makes his figure even worse when you think about it.
