The alternative is to find another Vardy or Toney in the lower leagues. We can but hope and dream. I do agree CA is a slight upgrade on what we have. JPM for me is sub standard but I actually think OE is an excellent finisher but the rest of his play is letting him down.

Personally, I like what I have seen of Adams, plays like Ayew but has more goals in his game. I think he would score 10+ goals every season which would be a bit better than Mateta & Edouard plus we would get the work rate allowing more space for our ball-players.

Not a bad player and an upgrade on Mateta.

If OE played 38 full games, I have confidence he would finish the season on 13-15 goals and his all round play would improve from being viewed as the main man. Adams' all round play is considerably better but he's getting you 10 goals, give or take, over 38 full games. He seems like a rich man's Cameron Jerome (a player whose all round play was under appreciated because of how dire he was in front of goal). (And of course it would be pretty extraordinary for any one striker to play all game over all the games). Mateta is somewhere between the two. But maybe he'll bloom late and get some confidence in front of goal having had some time to adjust to the prem.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

I thought we should have been in early for Adams, this is too little, too late.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Could it be our delay in pursuing Adams is because we hope to persuade Nascimento to join Franca, to give us two Brazilian young talents That would be great IMO. Apparently Textor and Dougie were having dinner with the two of them the other evening.

It is hard to judge Che Adam’s on his performances at Southampton because he never got any service to him. He would get more chances up front for Palace!
