What have we established?
Lerma has signed, three veteran defenders have extended contracts by one year, Zaha’s contract has expired and there’s still no manager announcement.
Even those in the so called know such as Woosnam from the Athletic, Aarons from the Guardian, Carl from twitter and even our own Dazza cannot provide any real pointers.
Either the club is playing it’s cards very close to it’s chest, or there is the lack of planning and execution at the club that some on here have highlighted.

I would be very happy to get Perr Schuurs, Reiss Nelson, Guehi to Arsenal, Nketiah and 30m, (money for Schuurs) and Jded Spence on a loan to buy. easily doable, with Wilf, Guehi, Luka and McArthur off the books, no increase in salary cost

Is there one? He was only 21 in March so is classed as an U21 for the coming season, and as such he can be a freebie in our 25 man 1st team squad. If Lerma has been brought in to support Doucoure then our midfield in a Hodgson 433 is sorted namely Doucoure, Lerma and Eze. Hughes and Ahamada will vie for minutes off the bench with Schlupp possibly being an option off the bench out wide up front if Wilf doesn't re-sign.
