Dare I say it, but we are a team you don't want play at moment if you need points. Everton at Home next I believe. I suspect they won't be looking forward to it. Just read their match report, seems they were pretty awful today, losing at home to a team that's just lost 5 in a row. They have no target man, and two full backs described as 'poor'. I thought they'd be alright, and I still think they'll stay up... but they don't seem able to get away from trouble. Olise & Eze could cause chaos.

If Leicester lose today (2-0 down last time I looked) and Forest lose tomorrow, it's "game over" I reckon (if not already. Then no way 3 of the bottom 4 will overtake us.
Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |

City look as though they’ve given up on exerting any real effort already which is understandable. 3-0 as I type. I think there’s a bottom 5 now which will become the new mini-league battle. Given the games we have left I have been doing the ‘above Chelsea’ maths which seems ludicrous. I think anybody attempting to justify a scenario where we get relegated from here will have a far tougher if not impossible task.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Nice to see Mr Hodgson has sorted Mitchells game out for him, he looked back to his best for me.

I particularly enjoyed the choruses of ‘Hes just too good for you’ after Eze was fouled later in the game Speak of the devil he was absolutely anonymous first half but did look like Lanzo’s fantasies second half, like one of the best players in the world even without his brace (gentle joke Ad if you see ). He continuously did that thing where my tired eyes couldn’t keep us with his movement and he would just retain the ball without me being to sure as to how… Excellent and needed result today, we deserved it in the end and now with 9 goals and 9 points under Roy, a quarter of our seasons total thus far, we’re looking safe and can breathe. Not only that though, we have eight games left all against struggling teams and looking good! Could be a very happy end to the season following our winter of discontent. COYP!!! I have been saying for 18months he is a rare talent, already the best English player, and the best since Gascoigne, what he has is unteachable, Roy has got the ideal formation for him, 4-1-4-1, he has the freedom as Doucoure is covering, he is still young enough to become a world class player, lets hope we can enjoy him for as long as possible
“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

I was worried at the interval but after Eze scored the opener I started to relax and at that juncture I never thought we would be defeated. Edited by Willo (15 Apr 2023 6.09pm)

I just wonder if PV made things too complicated for the players. At the end of the day, as Olise once said…you get the ball…shoot….and score. I can’t remember which game it was, but remember Ward giving PV dagger looks as if to say, what the hell are you talking about! Sometimes, just simple instructions can be very effective. Perhaps that’s why all the team look so much happier. Well done the 2Rs….Roy & Ray

If you look at form, Leeds, West Ham and Bournemouth have shown they pick up a win here and there. The bottom four have just one win between them from 24 previous matches. So whilst it's still tight, it's looking like the candidates to go down will ultimately come from those four. They're s***.
