Hi there, me and a friend (both from Belgium) will be attending this game on our city trip to London this weekend.

I heard/read the atmosphere at Selhurst is one of the best in the PL. Hopefully this will also be the case tomorrow, despite the bad form of Palace..

BOL!

Crystal Palace vs Brighton has a long standing history amigo and the atmosphere may therefore be a bit more hostile as opposed to lively. It may well be both.

I wouldn't anticipate anything too 'scary' let alone dangerous however may be quite heated. I hope yourself and your friend enjoy the game.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Remember that famous 2 - 0 win in Brighton 10 years ago

We went up. They didn't.

Today, they are huge favourites AWAY to us.

Quite clear how well they have developed over the last decade compared to us.

0 - 3 a reasonable guess.

If PV starts with Ayew, Edouard and Schlupp (midfield) again, I fear the worst. It has not worked so far, why should it tomorrow?
Would like to see a 4-strong midfield with Doucoure, Hughes and the 2 new guys. Schlupp(!) and Olise on top with same defense as in the previous games.
It can't be any worse than some of the last games where we hardly had a shot on target. Losing here and some of the teams below us nick a point or three, we are staring right at the relegation ghost.

The trouble with computers, of course, is that they're very sophisticated idiots

I fear the worst based on the last few performances. More concerning, is that a really bad result puts us in a downward spiral. The glass is always half full, so maybe a draw will stop the rot, if not, watch out!

A share of the points will mean that we have only won 1 out of the last 11 games in all competitions.
Should we draw and some of those below secure victories there will be a sense of some foreboding amongst our supporters.

Our midfield selection should be interesting.
Mcarthur is back in the squad tomorrow and we also have the two new midfielders as well as the recent involvement of Hughes to consider.
We should be more competitive in midfield, but the key will be stopping them down the sides where they are very strong.
We can't leave our full backs isolated which we have a tendency to do.
We're facing two in form teams in the next two fixtures and I'd be delighted with three points however they arrive.

Have seen this line in lots of places...'However, he is believed to remain frustrated at Parish’s hands-on approach and what he perceives as a lack of ambition in the transfer market that led to the arrival of only two players in January'

I'm presuming that 1 journo made it up and all the other idiots peddle it. Or is there some proof somewhere or an actual quote?

Welcome to Selhurst Park! The great thing is that the support is always great regardless of the quality of play. The truth is that none of us know what kind of performance will turn up. Hoping for the best, fearing the worst!
