I'm sure the interview process wasn't disingenuous in the least. Talk of bringing on the academy, seeing off out of contract players, bringing in new players, and a sizable transfer kitty to make it so. Well, maybe not that last bit.

Only now it’s been mentioned he does look a bit like a 16 year old who’s mum took him to Topman or River Island before the school prom.
