Parish maybe digging his heels in whilst being forced out. I think it's reasonable to suggest that Textor can get 11% more of the club from Blitzer and Harris. I would presume they are negotiating right now. It seems an obvious move in these circumstances.

But who would be willing to buy the rest of Harris and Blitzer's shares knowing that Textor had a majority stake? It could only be someone who believed that Textor had the right blueprint for the club's future. Hmmm. But has he?

Be interesting to be in the boardroom conversations

Also Parish’s ex partners that cos funded CPFC2010
Wonder what they think of what’s going on with ownership?

Just a thought..!!

Kang has financial clout, but she's not "Newcastle" or Abramovich wealthy. If she was hanging with Textor for business reasons, more likely it might be related to buying into his investor group (Eagle Football) rather than looking to singlehandedly purchase a team (Palace or otherwise). And I've little doubt that Textor is seeking to expand his group with additional funds, given his ambitions.

If watching Wall Street makes me know anything, once Textor has the majority he can simply purchase those shares whether the others like it or not can't he?
It's the kind of thing I reckon is going on right now. I'm just guessing. A company expert can tell us. I'm pretty sure it works like that.
Best financial option for shareholders now would be to do a deal with Textor now - before just being bought out in a compulsory sale. I believe that's how it works but I'm not a corporate lawyer or accountant.

I would doubt Blitzer and Harris would sell only a portion of their share of the club to Textor or anyone else. Why would they? They don't need the cash and why would they want to be left still holding a share of the club, but with a dramatically reduced say in how it's run? No doubt they'd sell up completely given a buyer who met their asking price, but any sale would be for their entire share, not a partial. If Textor wanted to do that (buy all their shares), he'd have to find additional investors for his fund because it doesn't have the cash right now. With that said, it's not impossible that could happen (one reason he may have been speaking to Michelle Kang).

This is the problem with our partial ownership model. Sooner or later, you're likely to end up with shareholders who have competing interests and that makes the club much harder to sell unless you find a billionaire. And that, I suspect, will be our fate. Either some sovereign fund or Abramovich will drop out of the clear blue sky, or a sale will be a long and arduous process. Right now, Parish, Textor, Harris, and Blitzer all have significantly different motivations with regard to their investment in Palace. Harris and Blitzer have the financial clout to buy out Textor and Parish but they don't want to. Parish or Textor don't have the financial clout (at least without finding additional investors) to buy out Harris and Blitzer, even if they wanted to.

No, and not majority either. The threshold is 30%. If you own 30% of the shares (or you and other shareholders with whom you're in agreement do) then you're obliged to make an offer for the remaining shares. That, however, doesn't mean the other shareholders are bound to sell them to you; it just means you have to give them the opportunity to do so at a fixed price.

If Textor succeeds in merging his Eagle Football Holdings with sports investment company Iconic Sports Acquisitions, and then floating the company it is predicted to have a value of £1.2b.

That’s what will give him access to the funds he needs to buy out Harris and Blitzer.

And that’s a scenario that will probably keep Steve Parish awake at night.

Reports in the Daily Fail that Harris and Blitzer want to buy a minority share holding in Man Utd, the minority if they side with the Glazers it would keep them in control of the club, maybe that would explain why Michelle Kang was at the Man Utd game, for Textor to persuade her to buy H&Bs shares, or it might be all total c**p
