I'm no federalist and can see the advantages of a constitutional monarchy which is *supposed* to be our political system. Unfortunately our former Queen who is supposed to protect this nation and its people signed the Lisbon treaty (and others like Tony Blairs "reforms" and whether knowingly or not transferring power to foreign interests which can only be considered a treasonable act. Charles III will never be my king because (ignoring the close links with Jimmy Saville) he clearly has a globalist agenda and backs those pushing for a one world government with this kind of s***: He is basically sitting on a golden throne telling us that we all need to be cold and hungry. I predict a constitutional crisis under Charles reign and huge civil unrest due to the policies he supports. I would see more of a lack of relevance, rather than any real crises. I guess, theoretically, the Crown are a part of a British Constitution, however, I'm always reminded of Henry VIII's invention of an ink stamp with his signature. They're really just rubber stampers and can't really be held accountable for policy. I suspect Charles just won't resonate with the general public and the status of royalty will eventually be like other monarchies. But there is a chance maybe William and Kate, or even the other two could make the Crown popular again.

Do you think "allegiance to any British monarch" will even be an issue at that point?

Charles is more the king of Davos and more defender of the faiths....than he is the English king. The idea that the English/British are allowed a monarchy just for them went a long time ago. They wear the symbols but that's about it. They do the bidding of globalists not the bidding of the English people. I'm more an adherent to the idea of monarchy rather than what the knee bending modern day has made of it. Edited by Stirlingsays (21 Sep 2022 6.39pm) Attachment: pokeypokey.JPG (79.76Kb)

Can't accept the late Queen was beholden to the globalists
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

I genuinely don't think it's much of an issue now - let alone in 20 years time. Once the funeral is done, bar a brief revival for the coronation, everyone will go about their daily business and pretty much forget about it. It's already yesterday's news.
