With the quality in the PL this season, we would be relegation candidates without Wilf. We need to keep him until he is 40 if we can.

He is very key. If we can’t get Gallagher give Wilf another £50k a week and sign him for another 2/3 years.
The beatings will stop when morale improves. |

Wilf and Gallagher scored most of our goals last season, and without both we would seriously struggle.

The thought of Man C away without him isn't v pleasant. Hopefully when Olise is back and firing, alongside Eze and a new signing we wont feel it as much. But without him we'd have 0 points instead of 4. So like it or not, he's vitally important.

It's an interesting scenario! How would we look without Wilf? The light now illuminates certain players. Ayew cannot score enough goals and Eduoard, like Benteke is starting to look weak when taking chances - even against Oxford - he stuffed up two good chances at least - we could have lost to Oxford. Mateta takes a high percentage of the chances given him. If WZ goes we keep Mateta and need one or two proper strikers or we look like relegation fodder. Ayew and Eduaord out or benched. Interesting. Just my thoughts.
