he would have gone - unfortunately the money has fallen out of the Chinese league (big tax on foreign purchases etc) so the big deals dried up a few years ago.

Unless a promoted club gets desperate i can see him going back to Belgium when his contract expires - Bruges have been linked before but suspect they can't afford even half his current salary.
