I tell you what.....I'm more disappointed by the performance of some of the so-called supporters in here than Palace's 2nd half performance! It's been an unbelievably good season all things being considered and all you can do is criticise the moment things don't go quite to plan. Everton were fighting for their lives while we had, in real terms, nothing to fight for. Despite that we were 2 up at half time in a hostile ground and in front until 75 mins. So what we lost in the end. We secured Premier League status with several games to go, reached the FA cup semi and have started to play really attractive football. Brilliant I say. Talk about glass half full, some people aren't happy even if its 3/4 full!

There's always one isn't there.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

The amount of points we've thrown away from winning positions this season is staggering.

For all the credit we give PV he's got to figure out how we hold onto wins.

Top half finish now out of the question and that's something we should have delivered based on our general play over 38 games.

Different league admittedly but he had a habit of doing this whilst in charge of NYCFC. It appears to be a chink in his armour.

Mostly agree with this - if we’d had to get a result to secure our status I think they would have done so. Everton have been Jekyll and Hyde, unfortunately they were fighting for survival and turned up in the second half. I want to see a good performance against United mind.

Well said steveoxon agree with you 100%,I'm actually pleased that Everton are not being relegated, hopefully it will be the cloggers from Leeds.

Lack of a killer instinct. Why we don't improve. Viera just waiting for the Arsenal job.

As good as that First Half performance was... the second was very poor... it’s a bad habit and one they’ve got to put a stop too...Had Mateta scored when Pickford made a great save it would probably have been a different story but hey let’s beat M U to finish off the Season...

Everton need to be made an example of, the pitch invasion before the game ended was a disgrace. I expect the Palace players were just waiting for the final whistle to get down the tunnel as quick as possible, before those scouse thugs got to them.
The stewards did nothing to stop them, a nasty trend is creeping into football, just ask Billy Sharp, who needed stitches after a pitch invasion.

Probably a little bit too naive to bring it over the line but they ran for their lives and put everything on one card, we not. Just let them celebrate, their "Match of the Year" of Everton was a league-game against us, while the "average club" (Gerrard) has visited Wembley in the meantime and is further up in the table.

For me, has to be a concern the team concedes three in one half - any time, any team, any situation.

Missed McArthur’s cool head in midfield. I would have said a striker was a priority but we need a more experienced leader in midfield. Luka has had his day. Bringing him on for Hughes made us worse. I assume PV was worried he was about to get a second yellow.

Looks like we’ll finish where we usually end up unless we beat Man U and Wet Spam, Burnley, and Leeds all win.

I’d feel less disappointed if we’d come back from 4-0 down to lose 3-2 but as PV keeps saying we need to learn game management. For a brief moment there we were above the Seaweed! I need a drink!

Why would Arsenal take a manager who’s going to end up with 20+ points less than they’ve got this season, one year Prem experience, and another ex-player after Arteta?
