after today :

although it galls me to admit. Everton look like favourites to survive. Both Burnley & Leeds look vulnerable for the drop.

and i reckon that 3 match ban, for the pigtail eejit from Leeds, will bury them.

Leeds are falling like a stone and are surely certainties for the drop, although they lead the table in achieving the most bookings/ red cards in a single season,a Premiership record of 100,such a filthy side.

Bit of a weird thing to admit but I have a soft spot for Burnley, they’d be my last choice to go down. Still not happy about Dyche but as is often the case in football that emotion has passed.

Of Leeds and Everton, either would be worthy of celebration although an Everton relegation would be a double whammy if it meant FL not managing in PL again, to be fair he may go in any instance.

Hard to see Leeds surviving now but you never know!!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Leeds defeat today against Arsenal means they are still in big danger of the drop. More importantly it means we are now mathematically safe from the drop ourselves!

I never understand why the word 'mathematically' is needed here. Isn't the word 'safe' sufficient?

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Leeds now have 2 players banned cos of Red-cards. And both thugs are deservedly banned.

plus a sh1tty goal-difference. It is now looking highly unlikely that Leeds will catch Everton.

Therefore : Everton are nearly safe. If Everton get one draw from the next 3 games then Leeds would need a miracle.

If Burnley get just one draw from the next 3 Burnley games, then Leeds will need 2 points or better from the final 2 Leeds games.

The bookies will now strongly favour Leeds for Relegation.

Today I’m actually hoping Brighton win to help Leeds on their way down

Trivial fact - Palace used to win 5-1 at least once a season, maybe next season?

i'd like Burnley to stay up, and both Everton AND Leeds to go down.

To lose by a soft penalty is harsh but a season lasts 38 games and Burnley haven't performed. Leeds got their points early and are trying to scrape over the line. Leeds have one game left, Burnley two, just praying Burnley gives Gerrards Villa a bloody nose.

Been away from the TV for a few days and have just caught up with the weekends highlights .
Burnley were robbed , our old friend Kevin giving another soft penalty to a 'big' club .

Everton 'lol' managing to drag themselves back in the mix after a couple of decent weeks . Another two sent off today , a win up there on Thursday is just the ticket (COYP) and will make their last game at Arsenal squeaky bum time but I cant see Leeds
getting anything at Brentford next week so its all down to wether Burnley can pick up a point in their last two matches .

Leeds are still favourites to drop

the Kevin Friend penalty was a disgrace. Kevin the big clubs Friend.

Everton, on 36 points, may be already over the finish-line. BOTH CLUBS below them need to perform well AND ALSO Everton get nothing from 2 games to get relegated.

Calvert-Lewin seemed to tweak his hamstring at the end of the game and Rondon is out for the season after that hilarious red card. It was almost like he decided he didn't want to play and so looked to get a red card. Leeds and Everton look awful at the moment, running around like headless chickens. I reckon Burnley will beat Villa who looked very average against us. If we play like we have been of late and Everton play like they have in the last couple of games then we could very well beat them.

Just for entertainment I hope all three are in the mix come next Sunday.
