Disappointing display particularly in the 1st. half, you'd have to say thats 2 points dropped. Never created enough meaningful chances against inferior opposition. Mitchell, Guehi were both excellent throughout,

I'm not a fan of Luka these days, but I really wanted to see him take the penalty and the free kick on the edge of the box. Just might have.......
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

The Roy comparisons have gone quiet I see. That’s because PV is no better and quite possibly worse. I mean, Ayew for Olise. Why? Ward has to be junked now. And the double change came too late. We have a much better squad than last season but fewer points. Not good enough.

He scored the goal that got us the point. He missed the pen that would have got us 2 more but his standing foot clearly slipped so unfortunate. No one else looked like scoring. So yes his all round game wasn’t of the standards we have seen in the past but he has made a telling contribution.

A shambles. One half bad, the next good. Not for the first time. It's as if PV doesn't know his best 11 and is still moving the pieces of the puzzle round to see which ones fit. Sure, he has options up front, but 4-3-3 leaves the midfield lightweight, and then there's the right back who needs cover because there's currently no alternative.
