45 years ago, our games teachers used to look at us in the school showers after games of rugby. I recently found out, at least one of the teachers is gay and may have used a visual image of my naked body as sexual stimulae. If I can get a few other classmates to testify, could I be onto something ? So, I realise it's a civil case, and the result is "more likely than not", rather than "beyond reasonable doubt". The real proof is going to be in the sentencing. The first Matrix film was a good allegory for how real society is actually run. Most people are invested in the system and aren't that interested in how it works at the top. They are happy to believe what they are told and take everything at face value. The Epstein episode was a crack in that façade but as we have seen, most people will go along to get along and as long as they aren't personally affected couldn't give a feck. She will appeal the verdict and she may get away with it. If that fails no doubt her lawyers will go for a plea bargain in return for a lighter sentence. The problem with that is that plea bargains only work when little fish give up big fish and she is a big fish. If all she can give up are more little fish I doubt the AG will care. i read somewhere that the grooming victim girls never mentioned Maxwell. Mostly had never heard of her. if true, is she the Patsy ? Taking the rap while the real baddies escape justice ? I thought it interesting that the pilot of the Lolita express says he remembers Virgina Giuffre around the time these events were supposed to happen. He says she didn't look underage at all, Randy Andy may have had her but I don't think he was looking for Jailbait.

So Maxwell has been convicted of sex-trafficking. So the big question that prosecutors should be asking, is who were the clients/perpetrators of the sex abuse ?
