As you know, Owen Paterson is Right Honourable. The Government placed a 3 line whip on the party to protect him. He isn’t just any old MP. He is a personal friend of BoJo and a part of the rotten establishment. Webbe was a new MP and was suspended by the Labour Party when the issue first broke. She has now been expelled So you have usefully demonstrated the difference in approach. Thank you. Another difference in approach.

Another difference in approach. Are you suggesting Parliament pulled strings in support of Ms Webbe? If not I don’t see the relevance for this discussion. Our legal system is designed to be independent in its judgements.

Just highlighting another case of differences in approach in different cases. Who knows? There could conceivably be others.

I think yes they did but potentially because we could do without blm protesting about racism, and taking up police time.

Not the smartest bloke are you? I'm a lot smarter than you sonny. Your straw man argument is that I support corruption. I don't, but I also know all too well about the hypocrisy of liberals and socialists. You are a shining example.

I remember it like yesterday and nothing has changed since. Well, at least not in the Conservative party. Wasn’t he a Tory MP who lied for personal gain and for whom the Party rallied around. Made steward of The Chiltern Hundreds.

I can think of no reason why any politician would have tried to pressurise a Judge in this matter. It is simply your prejudice. In fact she was an unpopular figure imposed by Momentum. I believe the party would have been rather satisfied at her fall from grace. Do try to keep up. Edited by Mapletree (05 Nov 2021 9.22am)
