Is that what it was? Aren't jokes meant to be funny?

I’ve recently discovered brown basmati rice. That is better.

that is a requirement, the other one being the receiver having a sense of humour. Speaking of which the 'it's a Curry PC World' comment has trumped us all.

My sense of humour did not detect anything funny.
Maybe I need to lower the threshold to what I like to call 'Mrs Brown's Boys' level, just for you.

now that was uncalled for, I'd say I'd have to get right down to Michael McIntyre level to put a smile on your miserable chops

Can't stand him.

Not really a fan of stand up these days.

Always liked a bit of Richard Prior but Steve Coogan is probably the funniest I have seen in recent years.

I think stand up comedy is a bit old hat full stop - I'm not trying to curry favour btw ... although I would make Omid Djalili an exception.

Some of the best modern day comedians appeal to their own age group.

Peter Kay
Micky Flanagan
Romesh Ranganathan

The blonde on bbc is quite funny. She’s straight. Unusual for a female comedian these days. The Canadian guy who’s an actually funny version of Tim Vine, who isn’t funny.

If it isn’t one of these then ‘9 out of 10 cats’, which unfortunately was dropped and replaced with them doing ‘countdown’ which isn’t worth the time.

The punchline I'm an Iranian never gets tired.

ghost, not splittin hairs, but vindaloo is a genuine dish(maybe not the name ) has a portugese influence.
Phall I tend to agree with you, but again possibly just the name.
its regional.
A guy i know(indian) wont eat certain dishes from certain restuarants as he considers them ' not suitable '- regionally, to cook that particular dish.

That was inedible muck and there wasn't enough of it.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I'm not sure how you'd know as you'd have already switched off and put in a written complaint about the over representation of Brown Boys on TV before the opening credits had finished.

That one any better? At least you like Steve Coogan. Can't beat a bit of Alan.

Not seen his routines, but I do quite like The Misadventures of Romesh Ranganathan. His deadpan delivery and visits to 'unloved' places can make for amusing viewing..
