Nitpicking perhaps but their attack was only ever so so given the talent available and they rose on the back of their defence - which was relatively speaking stable and not a whole new creation. Werner and Ziyech never quite settled. Remember looking into this around this time last year but there are precious few examples of a successful attack being bought in in entirety. Think Blackburn is about the only headline one from memory. In any event think change needs to managed over a few windows and be evolution as much as revolution. Originally posted by A89M
They got to the FA cup final and won the champions league last season. Once Tuchel came in, Chelsea were a very a good side with all their new players, it seemed to be Frank Lampard who was the problem. I slightly agree though, too many players could ruin the squad morale that we've clearly had for some time but we do still have a strong core squad to integrate the new players.
