More likely a disgruntled civil servant or advisor goes to the tabloids and they supply the camera?

Surely a serious breach of GDPR? Doesn't that carry a prison sentence? In the light of all the BBC Martin Bashire allegations someone should look into how The Sun came to get their hands on this video and if it was in the public interest or legal for the s*** rag release it?

Don't both their families have a right to privacy too? I'm sure its not something the partners, kids and extended family members want wall to wall coverage of.

Not saying that he's not a bit of a scumbag, but they are two adults and we all know this goes on. Just everyone seems to turn a blind eye to the media's behaviour when it suits them. This will probably lead to a big protest, people will catch covid at it, and people will die.... all for a scoop.

My theory is this.

Hancock wants out but does not want to go based on how he reacted to Covid. So he stages this 'scandal'.

That's an excellent idea.
I wouldn't think Hancock put it out himself.
It is convenient for No 10 to hang him out to dry in the light of all of Cummings' comments.
The government doesn't have to sack him because he failed on covid, thus admitting they had the wrong man in the job for over a year. But they do get to sack him based on personal behaviour.
That seems like a very savvy political move. Say what you like about Boris, but the guy is excellent at when it comes to dirty political games like this.

Remembering Hancock was appointed pre-covid, Boris wouldnt have appointed one of his really big hitters into the Health ministry. It's a bit of a political graveyard as the role has everything to lose and nothing to gain.

Mellor was a big Chelsea fan. All he did was have an affair and in those days that was resignation offence.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Clearly the media pack and the Opposition want a scalp, claiming that there are issues of public interest and the pressure will continue to be exerted.

I don't know about GDPR, but a serious Whitehall security breach I'd have thought.

How the hell could Boris, a serial philanderer, cheat and liar, sack someone on account of his personal behaviour? Surely even he couldn't do that? Or could he.....?

And by the way, who are these "serial big hitters" you refer to? In my opinion they're a bunch of political pygmies - the worst government I can remember (and I first watched Palace in 1954!).

I remember working one Boxing Day I'm guessing 10/12 years ago & of course we had the football playing on multiple screens showing multiple games.
A friend of mine who was watching the Sunderland match says to me out of the side of his mouth,
'You know who that was you served?' so I told him I didn't really take any notice.
It's David Mellor who was with (I'm guessing his sons & their Girlfriends) they were watching Chelsea v Fulham game.
At the time I think his partner was Lady Cobham who was over in the USA to promote English Tourism (that bit I happened to read in a newspaper)
Anyway 3 or 4 months later who should come back into the bar looking for the Chelsea game you guessed it Mellor
It was the 4th Round of the FA Cup & I think Chelsea were playing someone like Hull City so it wasn't being televised, anyway Mellor who isn't exactly an oil painting had with him a very attractive guessing mid 20s Brunette with him.
I'm kinda speculating here because I don't think he ever expected to see me again but he gave me a kind of 'Shush keep quiet please don't say anything look' & left me a 0.00 tip !!

Had him in the taxi a couple of times, lives at st katharines dock east of tower bridge, obviously $100 isn"t enough to silence you Jim.

Have heard thru a few 'lefties' websites, he's going to be interviewed tomorrow for the managers position at our club on a 3yr contract. Honest, insider info, pukka. Seriously peeps, gotta trust me on this.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.
