On Tuesday Newcastle v Leeds.
Leeds have lost their last 2 PL games and Newcastle have lost 6 of their last 8 PL games.
I have watched Newcastle in their last 3 games and they have really been disappointing. They are on a bad run, losing 8 of their last 10 games covering the PL and cups.

And long may their losing streak continue. Newcastle are just an unpleasant team with such an unpleasant manager. Would be happy to see Sheffield or Leeds stay up at their expense. Sadly Sheffield have had it and Leeds may not be far behind them.

Wonderful to see Newcastle lose, yet again tonight and even better to see BFS's Albion being thrashed 4-0 currently by Citeh. Some rare good news after our own dire performance!!

Unless something drastic happens, the bottom three are the bottom three.

Sheffield Utd have one 5 from their last 7 in all competitions. Seems like they might be starting to turn narrow defeats into narrow victories.

I think BFS has been away from football too long and lost his touch, combined with a poor squad and lack of decent transfers the job is beyond him. Palace and Sunderland both had better squads that had previously survived in the Premiership, the task wasn't as difficult and certainly in our case it only took 3/4 targeted signings to sort us out. But then again, is BFS (why don't I get called out for using that acronym yet if I swap an R for a W I'm suddenly Hitler - hypocwits).

Fulham's last 6 have been relatively tough, but picking up 2 points isn't enough. I feel for them coming up in the play-offs with the shortest break in history and I quite like the way Parker speaks so passionately and openly about his team. A surprise win then they could be back in the mix.

Those last two wins were massive for us, we'd be below Brighton had they not come. Keeping a couple of managers heads above water for a few more weeks.

After a poor start Burnley seem to be in the assendancy, they've got Brighton on Saturday. So either Burnley and Newcastle will Start to get cast adrift in the bottom 5 or the Weed will be dragged back in.

Fixture congestion is going to start catching up with teams so expect odd results.

Looking at the entire bottom half of the table, Burnley remain the only team we haven't picked up points against and on paper, I'd prefer our squad to many of the other clubs below Arsenal. Would an 11th place finish be an unreasonable position to aspire too? When you look at the bottom 3, the success criteria of just avoiding relegation doesn't seem particularly ambitious.

Fulham v Sheffield very significant from our point of view.
Personally, would be happy to see the blades win or secure a point as it would slow down Fulham's remarkable recovery in recent weeks and keep them far enough away from us for the time being, until our meeting next week!!

Pity about Southampton and Wolves, but good result at Burnley.

WBA looked good with a team of 10 men vs a team that thrashed us at home last week.

Lots of committed defending saved Burnley. We don't seem to fight like that anymore.

WBA now 11 points + GD from safety with 13 games to go.

Fulham currently 6 points to catch 14 games.

After teams need to catch up more than 1 point per game they are normally to far adrift to survive as a rule of thumb. On that basis today's game for Sheffield United is very much the last chance saloon.

Strange that Burnley struggled against 10 men WBA,whereas last week against us,I thought we were facing Real Madrid,we looked so bad ??
However, good result for us as it keeps Burnley below us.

WBA showed that if you attack teams you can get success. We sit back and think we've got a stretcher bond defence. Sadly it's more like Lego!

Yup, ten man WBA completely bossed the game against a team who last week battered us 3-0 at home! How they didn’t score at least one of their many good chances is beyond me.

A depleted Sheff Utd tonight with a re-vamped back three with Jags in the middle.

Such an important game but they seem to have run out of personnel.
