The next two games have to be very important for him. Two wins should be the minimum expectation to buy him a bit more time. You keep coming out with all this sh!t but the truth is that the owners want to sell and have found the goose that lays the golden egg. A manager that keeps them up with fvck all net spend and doesn’t scream blue murder or just fvck off like Allardyce and Pulis did when they don’t get their own way.

It’s not what the fans think, it’s what Parish thinks, it’s what the board think and what the players think that is important. By all accounts Parish the board and players are thrilled to have Roy. If you want entertainment go to the circus and watch the clowns. Football is a multi million pound business and those who have a financial interest and those who have invested their own money in the club will do what it takes to safeguard their interest. In other words Roy is going nowhere unless the club drops into the bottom three around Christmas.

Chelsea was unacceptable but we won our first 2 playing good football and were easily on par with Everton. If it wasn’t for a penalty that literally would not have been given one week later, we’d have taken at least a point. I don’t think it’s fair to say 2 in 12 over different seasons, it’s apples and oranges. Really, it’s 2 in 4 or if you’re only concerned about playing drab boring football and don’t take points into consideration, then it’s technically 3 really well played games out of 4. I do think Palace/Roy are always on a knife edge. If we go and lose to Brighton whilst playing terrible football then our season could spiral but if we win then all of a sudden we’re pushing for Europe again. Of all the seasons to just concentrate on staying up and nothing else, it’s this one. The fixture schedule is a joke, a lot of our players will get Covid at some point and the season could get postponed/canned at any moment. Let’s just make sure we’re 17th if that does happen. This isn’t a 50 year old Roy, there just isn’t a sense in protesting if you don’t like his long term vision. If he gets us through Covid Season 2020/21, he’s probably going anyway by the time you get back into your Seat to watch some attacking football so why worry about it?
