Either would be great. Bats did a good job last time and has proved he can play in the league, but long term Brewster will be a great striker. Likely to only be a loan deal for him as I cannot see Liverpool selling and I am sure there will be many interested parties.
Some people are like Slinkies … not really good for anything, but you can’t help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs. |

Shame about Conor Gallagher though, unless Chelski were prepared to sell him, since they have £200m plus of talent incoming?

Better than nothing if it happens I suppose but another case of using sticking plaster to treat a longer term problem.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Yes we need a striker and he's done well for us before (although over a year ago now and he's barely played since). As you say a loan is just papering over cracks and him signing a one year extension strikes me as he's not really motivated to kickstart his career. If he does well with us Chelsea will just demand 25m plus again. Think I'd actually rather Gallagher's energy in the midfield plus a striker that we put our long term faith into.

My bro seems to think there'd be an option to buy included in the deal. Although I must state he is officially NOT ITK before any accusations start flying around haha But if that was the case then it'd make more sense to me if the value is reasonable. Plus as you say if it's complimented by another youthful prospect then great.

Proved exactly what we needed last time he was here.... Proper penalty box player and he seemed to gel with his team mates... International striker with Premier experience..... What's not to like!

A fair hunch, but the budget may be done with Eze and Bats coming in. Bats may be the striker we can't find elsewhere. Still, happy to see Bats in a Palace shirt again. I don't have to worry about the finances.
So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet. |
