Agree,as,in any event,Palace are not in a financial position to pay between £30/40m for Sarr. All press speculation and hype. Exactly, we have a full 25. Sarr if Zaha went perhaps, and then only perhaps. We'd probably just use Eze and Schlupp knowing us.

Odds on to join now, Come on Parish, make us happy. Roy did say with better players coming in, Zaha can stay and be happy here. Tomorrow could be exciting.

I've just been informed by a friend who is part of the accounting team that a bid has been approved for Sarr, expected to be submitted first thing tomorrow. They didnt say the amount, however did say it wasn't what was being reported in the media.

I'll take a stab at Wolves or Everton. I've entirely invented this. I wonder does the bid have a 10 mil add on for winning the Champions League, and 10 mil for winning the Premier League with 5 mil up front?

We are in a stronger position than normal in that we don't desperately need Sarr, albeit he would undoubtedly improve us. Given the Sorloth sale has potentially paid for 50% of Eze, and given we haven't spent much since Roy has been at the helm, is there, could there, might there, be a chance we will go big at the last minute? If we could get Wickham off the wage bill to Derby that would help. If you'd asked me at the beginning of the transfer window which two players (realistically) would I most like us to sign it would have been Eze and Sarr. Please Mr Parish make this supporter's dream come true

If it happens I may well eat my ten gallon hat with pickles.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |
