Why isn't this massive Nissan news on the BBC front page?

The idea that the BBC has any impartiality or acts in the public interest is now firmly put to bed after Brexit and Covid 19. They have become a left wing tabloid.

It was their Brexit that done it for me. Week afer week, discussion panels dominated by vocal Remainers. Not even a pretence about the bias being shown. And then the coverage of the night we actually left the EU. Their utter contempt for those who celebrated in Westminster was almost painful to watch. I had always been a defender of the BBC, and more importantly, its funding model, believing that despite the negatives there were enough positives to outweigh those but the reality is that you cannot expect a majority of people to be forced to pay for an organisation that despises them. I would probably still pay for a BBC service but I cannot expect others to be forced to do so. Simply no longer sustainable.

BBC has this puff piece about Carly Fiorina the darling of the Feminists back in the late 1990's. She became the first female boss of a Fortune 500 and received loads of positive press about how she was breaking the glass ceiling and showing the boys how it should be done. As CEO of HP she was a complete disaster and was forced out after 5 years. As a shareholder I lost several thousands because she decided to merge with Compaq in what is still known as the worst merge of all time. Now it is true that the BBC does mention this but the whole article is a puff piece, after she was left business she became an unsuccessful political candidate. In other words she failed in business and politics. I would not have put her up as the BBC has done as role model there are plenty of other female bosses who have been successful. If you are going to do an article about her it should have been more along the lines that she never lived up to the hype and was actually a disaster costing tens of thousands of jobs, so did she ever warrant the hype? Still the BBC keeps spinning why let the facts get in the way of a good feminist story. Edited by Badger11 (01 Jun 2020 9.09am)

The BBC disgust me. They continually look for any opportunity to describe criminals as protesters when the truth is that there are far more of the former than the latter. The BBC's downsizing and subscription model can't come quickly enough.

They are now way beyond satire. Yeah, I thought BBC comedy had given up once 'Only Fools and Horses' had finished until I realised that NewsNight had taken up the reins.
