Roy seems to have lost the plot. Why aren’t we playing Townsend? If Tekkers is on the pitch we should be trying to be more direct. Instead we’re trying to ping the ball about with the wrong players.

This is like someone went into Football Manager and just randomly picked a bunch of tactical options.

Or then take Benetke and start lumping it up the field then?

Amazing that Pulis could get a tune out of a much, much poorer side, yet RH sends out a side that looks like it hasn’t got a plan A , let alone a plan B.

This is Hodgson in his latter days as England manager all over. Just a matter of time for the chop.
If he's looking at the bench ha ha Wickham's on loan

So true, if only... what must those on the bench be thinking.

There is no doubt about it Roy has no idea how to play with Benteke in the side

On this evidence, they seem to be a team in real need of investment."

Outrageous to suggest we haven't invested! That new contract for Benteke wasn't cheap.

The sooner Benteke comes off, Andros goes wide, Ayew goes up front, the sooner we might actually start playing football.

When someone wakes up at the club and realises that we are in fact not lucky to have Roy Hodgson as manager, and fires him. Let us not forget this is the tactical genius who had Harry Kane taking corners. Who sent out a side that lost in the World Cup to Iceland (population 250,000).

Let’s be fair Roy has been asking for new cards for some time now and yet Paris and that of joke of a Director of football can’t deliver, I do agree CB on pitch is like starting with 10 !

Only 6 points off the bottom 3.

Will Roy last the season if he doesn't start changing things up? I know we blame the lack of players etc but his tactics and team set up are awful and have been for ages.

I’m gonna say it. I’d rather have pardew or Pulis than this. It is so so bad.

Roy has to go. I don’t know much about other teams outside of the premier league but there must surely be a Young up and coming manager that would love a chance.
We are going to go down with a whimper. Quietly dropping lower and lower.

The worry is that we are slipping into the stubbornness of the Peacock. Remember the Cup final season where we sunk like a stone in the league past Xmas. This time we do not even have the comfort of a Cup run to look forward to.
