Parish has done a deal with McQuarrie Bank to expedite the Bissaka money that will be used in January.

That was a horrible boring watch.

Trouble is I’m torn.

11 games and we are 9th. I don’t think we will be involved in a relegation fight which is good on the nerves for once.

however, we are going nowhere and 99% of the time we are so dull to watch.boring sideways and backwards passing and you know we are f*cked if the opposition score first.

Also it’s not like we are likely to bring anything in during January and I feel we will just tick over..

I suppose I should be glad we are in the premier league but I just think we can be better.

What a disappointing afternoon. Sloppy passing, hopeless set piece deliveries and second best in all departments. Shmichael hardly troubled .... don't think he even got his knees muddy.

Leicester are a well organised team with good attacking abilities. We are a well organised team with poor attacking abilities.
This means Leicester are a top 10 team and we are a bottom 10 team. We live in hope COYP

If they don't get hit by injuries, they will be in the top 4 at the end of the season.

We have no idea if it's going to be used for off-field projects. I'm not getting my hopes up for us adding significantly to the squad, especially when the contract extension for Benteke signals that we're happy to keep paying stupid money for the same underperformers.

Difficult to argue with that.

Roy is here to keep us above water - that's all. We don't have players capable of running 100 metres with the ball or run into defenders in the box.

Also PVA absolutely terrible, we need new full-backs.

this is one piece of negativity I do agree with - I don't agree we were terrible or lacked commitment - we did some good link up play, but at times gave the ball away cheaply or got in each others way - after 80 min we were pressurising and a draw would have been a fair result. PVA was shocking for their goal, and as bad two minutes later when he shot instead of putting Wilf through. Camarasa is clearly a dud, but if we get a similar type in Jan who is prepared to train, a full back and a striker we can stay top half - we have a strong bench, we are solid but unspectacular, not easy to beat, and only one or two additions away from being a really good side. And although Wilf may not be singlehandedly taking on defences, his passing and link up play has really come on, he may be a bit quieter but he is also more patient and intelligent in the way he plays.

Not true we do have some good players but we are not playing a system which allows us to use them in these ways.

We need to go back to what has been proven with other managers sort out set pieces and direct balls/crosses both those was are strengths we was one of the best in the league under two of past managers yet with Roy useless at both.

I agree, Wilfs passing is good now and he has a good eye for link up play. I also agree that the left side is our weakness. PVA is not a decent full back. He’s a half decent player, but not a full back. In my humble opinion we should buy a decent left back, move PVA into midfield and sack Schlupp who is absolutely useless. Alternatively, get Meyer to beef up a bit and make the left side midfield his own.

We were poor today, piss poor in fact and the left side was the pissiest poor part!

What chances?

By my reckoning we had two good chances that were easily blocked, mainly because we don't get to the ball quickly enough. Maybe another two times we whipped the ball across the goal but no one was there to touch it. I believe we had three or four shots on goal today. Don't think they had many more - 4 or 5 maybe.

As much as I agree with you, we didn’t help ourselves today with a couple of players playing poorly - namely Zaha and PVA. Thought Sluph also second half also didn’t perform. Needs everyone playing to their full potential when you take on the best in this division and some today were below par :-(

Sounds like a word to describe Schlupp's ability as a player - "he's a load of sluph"

On my way back from yet another disappointing game, a long and expensive day and saw no real desire from the tactics or the team.

I counted 3 shots on goal, all very poor. An ultra defensive line up that Roy failed to change in order to keep the score respectable rather than attack again.

I bought two friends who were completely bored.

Roy will get us to a safe mid table to lower table position, after however many seasons we have spent in the premiership it isn't an amazing feet, it's what we should expect. The board wont sack him as we are too stable.

A lot of players were completely anonymous today. We cant keep blaming bad recruitment on Freedman, the manager has to take responsibility for this. He's had loads of opportunities to make the squad better and hasnt taken them.
