Could have been worse they could have been chanting for corbyn and the labour party. Then I'd agree and hope they get banned for racist chanting.

I've emailed the club and asked for all Robinson's fruit squash to be banned from being sold in the ground. If we can get the hastags 'banallrobinsons' and 'imoffendedthereforeimright' going that would be much appreciated.

Let's get this factually correct. Singing about Tommu Robinson isn't racist. Tommy Robinson never gets caught saying anything racist. But he is fixated on Islam and Immigration. I've never heard him criticise any other groups, like the church, who have be covering up their atrocities for centuries. I cant claim that Tommy Robinson is racist.... but I wouldn't rule it out. But, racists dont care when you call them racist, because they are.

The OP appeared to say that his complaint was about fans chanting TR. In a latter post he appears to suggest something more serious in that fans were making racist chants and when he challenged them they they started to sing TR's name. Either way I do wish he would clarify it.

The only responsibility I have is to report it which I have done, and it's now for the arsenal/palace authorities to deal with or not as they choose. As for the exact chants it will all be on CCTV and observed by the steward. The most aggressive loud chant in my face about TR was said within close range of a lady who was serving who was obviously Muslim. The TR chant was done when I confronted them over original one which was clearly racist to me. That is my last comment on the matter.

chanting a racists name is racist. if anyone is happy with tommy chants, or just doesn't see a problem, they need to have good look at themselves. if you think its 'just chanting a name', then ask yourself why people chant his name. what he is famous for.

Assuming we are talking about Stephen Yaxley-Lennon here, who uses that name. Saying "Tommy Robinson" isn't racist. He is an Islamophobe, and possibly racist, though he's very careful not to say racist things. So if you are saying in your chant "I support Tommy Robinson" you are saying "I support an Islamophobe/borderline racist". Or conversely if the chant was i.e. "Tommy Robinson is a C**T" you would be saying "I do not support Islamophobia/borderline racism". It all depends on context. Personally I think the man is utter scum. And I would suggest that if it is heard within the Palace support, it could be drowned out with a "Tommy Robinson is a C**T" chant. And I would be very happy to join in with that.

He did indeed present it, but many years ago, long before Barry "Took" over. I only remember it when it returned in 1979 - when Barry 'Took' Over - with wit like that you should be on the radio too, abs love it. Then there was Anne Robinson which makes it three Robinsons presenting the show. Fry and Laurie did a lovely take on Call My Bluff, RR pressing his bell and words like 'pompous' and 'insufferable' would come up. And the guests … Alan Coren, Miles Kingston, who were the posh ladies on it? can't remember Joanna Lumley or Hermione Gingold but they must have been, not sure whether Anita Harris was intellectual enough to be on, pretty sure Nanette Newman was a regular. Same people used to appear on Face the Music, big bourgeois merry go round of light weight irritating b*ll*x, still much less irritatijng than QI or that boring git Dave Gorman, no I think we're gonna have to come up with a Robert Robinson chant.
