Assertions like this are risible. How does anyone know who edits Wiki, let alone what their political beliefs might be. This is just more bias.

People get sacked for many reasons but not for simply expressing unpopular scientific opinions. Real scientists have their work peer reviewed by other real scientists before publication. Getting sacked requires much more than just swimming against the tide.

Though it hasn't just been the left it's been the economic right...with their love of cheap labour.

For many of them, left or right it wasn't deliberate but unfortunately the mainstream's embrace of egalitarianism and general social liberalism, seemingly without any observational criticism, has effectively resulted in self harming and ultimately self destructive principles.

There seems to be a lot of this about at the moment. I consider myself right of centre but many of my views are left of centre. Strong on law & order, military, immigration and the economy a bit of a softy on the NHS and social housing. In other words a fairly typical voter with minor differences between me and someone on the soft left.

However the way people behave today some see me as being a card carrying member of the Nazi party. It seems you can't be a moderate any more you are either full on hard right or far left.
