Boris hasn't yet joined in and the outcome could depend on whether he tripped on LSD or just smoked the occasional joint Haha. He'll hand deliver 'I smoked, inhaled and bought the T-shirt' apparel to throngs of awaiting reporters.

The two main parties don't have any internal alignment on basic matters on top of the total sh*t show that is Brexit. We're going to be paralysed for years to come. Wouldn't life be good with Tom Watson and Rory Stewart in charge of their parties. Just imagine the progress that could be made.

I agree that neither party has internal alignment on Brexit, hence the current gridlock and a still unknown course going forward. Approval ratings for May and Corbyn are beyond terrible though and so in theory it could be that any change of leader is somewhat likely to favour the party making the change.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha. |

True, true, but it's more who MPs have declared for that I have my eye on. That can of course change going forward though. I appreciate that it's not a time of many certainties .

How is it fair that a tiny bunch of mid 50 year old WASPS get to choose the next PM and ultimately the brexit direction? Thought everyone had a hard on for the power of democracy lately?

It isn't but that's our system. Who voted for Gordon Brown to be PM? Personally I think that a GE should be called within 6 months of a new PM.
